Biomedical/Mechanical Engineer (Full-time)

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Design and development of medical training simulators for the healthcare industry and its’ stakeholders
  • Operating industrial-grade 3D printers, relevant machineries and other 3D technologies
  • Able to communicate (verbally and in writing) with, and/or deliver solutions to stakeholders from the healthcare industry
  • Providing customers with accurate description of proposed solutions at conference, seminars and/or tradeshows
  • Carrying out of all above tasks and responsibilities in adherence to standard operating procedures and/or guidelines
  • Other ad-hoc duties

Requirements:

  • Bachelor or master’s degree in biomedical / mechanical engineering related field
  • Intermediate to Proficient level in CAD (Please specify the software)
  • Experience in 3D organic modelling will be an added advantage
  • Competency in English (spoken and written)
  • Advantages (or willing to self-learn) if you have:
    • Knowledge and/or experience in 3D technologies, including Additive Manufacturing
    • Familiarity with human anatomy and medical terminologies
  • Self-motivated, result-oriented and energetic with passion to succeed
  • Team player and able to work independently
  • Strong communication and organizational skills

Internship

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Writing a Windows program in Python that interacts with our software
  • Providing assistance in integrating the program in migrating digital design files and 3D model digital file manipulations.
  • Carrying out of all above tasks and responsibilities in adherence to standard operating procedures and/or guidelines
  • Other ad-hoc duties

Requirements:

  • Pursuing studies in undergraduate level of software engineering or related field
  • Knowledge and/or experience in
    • Python
    • Able to work with API of proprietary software
    • Working on Windows Operating System environment and Microsoft Office products
    • Version control system
  • Advantages (or willing to self-learn) if you have:
    • Basic knowledge in CAD skills
    • Familiarity with 3D model files
  • Competency in English (spoken and written)
  • Self-motivated, result-oriented and energetic with passion to succeed
  • Team player and able to work independently
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
